Choices! Yes, we all have them. What a shining example of making probably the best choice of all. Thank you, Sean, for reminding us again the power we have even when we are powerless.
I’ve prayed for Morgan ever since the urgent request Pray for Morgan. I’m happy to see her smiling face again. Thank you Sean. And I continue to pray for you Morgan!
Your piece today made me put my current health problems into a new category. I will CHOOSE to meet those problems head on and be aggressive on the side of loving at the same time. My time is limited now in this world but I WILL finish this race with GRACE!! And my prayers are for Morgan and I shall look up to her as an example of a child of God that she is!!
Morgan, I wish I could wave a magic wand and restore you to perfect health. I admire your grit and attitude. Like yourself Sean brings encouragement into this often dreary world. I am told good and evil battle for our souls everyday. I choose to follow people like you and Sean who exhibit the good
“We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ ” ~ 2 Cor 10:5 Scripture…and Morgan tells us we are able to.
‘The devil has enough advocates’, ain’t it the truth! Advocate: to publicly recommend or support or the person who does. “Chose this day whom you will serve…” Joshua 24:15
And it all begins in our thought life. Let love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, gratitude and self-control pervade our thoughts.
I admit it’s the hardest thing we do. Thankfully we have people like Morgan who inspire us.
HI Sean, I recently finished the Camino shortly after you. The echoing insight that stays with me from this most recent Camino is 'in life, you learn to manage problems and not obsess over solving problems. Many of life's problems or challenges are not solvable but need to be managed.'
Morgan, I hope you see this because I want you to know that I’m grateful for people like you. You humble me. I also want you to know that I’m praying for you daily….. ever since Sean “introduced” us.
Thanks, Sean. I needed this today as I prepare for my 3rd chemo. It helped me focus on the positive of this process and not the ulcers in my mouth that make eating hardly worth it, not the fact that all my hair is gone, and my 78 year old body is missing the taste of food, not to mention the pounds that are needed. So, I will focus on the fact that I have a magnificent support system in my stepchildren (one of whom is with me today, my brother, my incredible neighbors who run errands, bring smoothies, prepare soup and whatever they think of to be true friends, and to Puck and Calamity Jane who are constant buddies who know only how to love. I am indeed blessed.
Like I’ve said before no matter what life throws your way keep going and that’s exactly what I’m doing right now and thank you again my dear friend for continuing on sharing this beautiful sweet angel with us all God bless 🙏
Morgan is absolutely beautiful, inside and out, and an inspiration. I wish I had known all of this when I started out in life (in maybe my teens) -- but I was clueless. I didn't know myself and what possibilities life could have for me. Now that I'm in my early 80s, I believe that at different stages in life you can be a different person. Life is like a classroom.
Sounds like a book i read by Bob Goff. Instead of reading about being a good person, go be a good person. The book is called Love Does. It’s short and sweet and cheerful and inspiring. You may have written this book Bill. ☺️
Fantastic! She must be a joy to be around! Hope isn’t thwarted for anyone who reads this. Well done, Sean. We must remember to pray for Morgan & her doctors. 🙏🏾
So very true. I had cancer, cancer didn't have me and I determined 3 years ago to continue my life same as before the ICU, three surgeries and numerous chemo treatments. In my eighth decade and grateful for all God has provided. My motto:
I have everything I need to do everything I need to do.
Every time you write about this precious child. I love her and you a little more. I am 83 years old - I want to be just like her when i grow up!
Ditto! Not the 83 part but 10 years younger.
Choices! Yes, we all have them. What a shining example of making probably the best choice of all. Thank you, Sean, for reminding us again the power we have even when we are powerless.

Yes, Faith, as do I.
Yep. I pray for you every day Morgan.
Me too

I will be praying for you. I wish you peace as you go through this hard journey of treatment and healing.
Been in your shoes……22 years ago. Prayers for you this day. They are a powerful help! Thankful for your team gathered around you! God bless!
Sending prayers and courage.

What a gift she is to all who know and come in contact with her! She is still doing God’s work. I don’t know her, but I love her! 🥰

In a fellowship I belong to, we have a saying: I can either be a human doing, or a human be-ing. Today I choose to be a human be-ing.
