Day Two of beach vacation. It’s sunny in Florida, I’m sitting on the beach with a blind 12-year-old girl. We have sand in all major orifices including the crevices between our teeth. The gang’s all here. My wife is reading a book. Becca, my blind goddaughter, is eating sand.
Beautiful. Story gave me goose bumps at the end there. Beach breeze, nightfall, calm at the end of a busy trip. So thankful y’all are having memories, making memories to share with all.
Pone, again, grate story. I'm telling ya, Dat Becca is an adventurous little so and so. Maybe bein blind heps you choke down dem orsters! Dat kid's got a appetite on her too! You and Big J is really doing da Lord's work wid this kid. Not sure who's enjoying it more, yall or her. Not sure bout Dat car ride though. Just remember Podner, what goes in must come out! Just point it towards Paxton!

Oysters will never be the same…..all I’ll see now is Danny Devito! We’ve enjoyed many family reunions in the Sand Mountain area. The tomatoes from SM are the best on the planet! (Or used to be …..back in the day) Seems Becca enjoyed the peanuts as much as I enjoyed day 2! Always a good day spending time on the beach …..and if you can’t be there, a well described day-lots of sea spray smells, seagulls calling, a child’s laughter and the feel of beach sand oozing through every finger- is a story to enjoy!
Aww! How beautiful! Wish I was with you all. I can feel the sand & hear the ocean waves- & after that delicious dinner- omg- bet u all had a good night sleep!Enjoy every moment, sounds like a perfect escape!!❤️
To watch you & Becca perform together was incredible. I will just say “ You are Awesome “ & Becca the icing on the cake. A God daughter is a mighty huge blessing in your lives & it shows! A privilege to see you perform.It was amazing to hear you two singing together. A night to remember fondly. I can hardly wait to see you perform again. Love attending VBS tonight. Just pondering reading this entry, if the seasons since “Jamie”, perhaps slowly, but surely, God continues to restore the earlier years the locust had eaten … reassurance to me that nothing in our lives’ events is beyond His transformation.
Now this here is what life should be like for all the “Becca’s” out there. A family that above all else loves them, isn’t afraid to have experience’s with and finds humor in everything. Sean, you and Jamie are beautiful souls in my little world. Keep shining!
Jamie knows. Becca is first and foremost their Goddaughter, above all else.
How blessed Sean, Jamie, and Becca are to have each other in their lives. God brought them all together. He knew.

All I can say is that last night at the Gretchen Nelson Theatre in Panama City, Florida was a little taste of heaven….
