It's our very heart and soul. It's the whisper in our every prayer. God Bless America and God Bless you.

Whatever I was about to write went right out of my head when I read your comment. Amen, Amen.

So many blessings for which we are grateful. And the wonder of this land we are privileged to call home.

And God bless Donald Trump for taking another bullet for the American people.

Expand full comment

Amen to that….We witnessed a miracle.

Expand full comment

Not a miracle.

Especially not for the dead man.

Expand full comment

The topic wasn’t about the poor dead man or the critically injured.

Expand full comment

The concern SHOULD be for the dead man and his family.

And no miracle happened.

Bless your heart Sy Anne…Heaven knows, you need it.

Expand full comment

I need it? LOL

How elitist of you.

Maybe ask for blessings for those who follow a narcissistic shell of a man who’s a rapist, convicted felon, adulterer and serial liar.

May you find your way to the light and the truth, Miss Carla.

I think that it was the Devils work that the bullet missed. I can say that. It's my 1st amendment right.

Expand full comment

If it was a bullet.

Expand full comment

Oh, please. He didn’t take a bullet for the American people. 🙄

They’re delusional, Sharon.

This whole set-up is making way for the Antichrist.

Fist-pump photo opportunity at the expense of dead men.

He doesn’t really care, does he?

Expand full comment

He’s reaping the seeds of violence that he’s sown over the past eight years. Unfortunately, others were killed and injured in the process. President Biden reached out to their families; he did not. No, he doesn’t care.

Expand full comment

Trump did reach out to the families. Do your research. As a reminder….this isn’t a political column…please do your best to keep it civil….if that’s possible.

Expand full comment

The same applies to people talking about him like he’s the Second Coming who’s going to save America 🙄

Expand full comment

Exactly! It’s not “political” as long as they agree with it. But when reality sets in it’s political.

Beware a theology that says God intervenes to save one person from a bullet, but not a whole classroom.

I'm proud to be an American. God Bless the U.S A. and the beautiful word-pictures here of places I love that you sent to us just now. May God bless you and yours too, Sean Dietrich.

I wish more people would just be grateful for what they have, be a little more empathetic for others regardless of their differences.

Amen...amen and amen! God bless our USA!

Are you actually going to let us think for a minute that the "homeless man" who "appeared out of nowhere" was not an angel? Of course he had a t-shirt with the flag on it! And of course he said "God bless America! " He was doing what God sent him to do for that day, and he did it with pleasure. If you were able to finally get him to take money, he likely gave it to someone else on his list of assignments. ☺.

God bless this country of ours, for all its faults and issues the beauty of the souls that live here come through time and time again…

Why would folks risk life and limb to come here, because we strive to live as those great orators professed almost 250 years ago… and the freedoms we take for granted, we should thank our higher power every day! God bless you America, and God bless you and yours Mr. Sean Dietrich.

My thoughts, EXACTLY!

Man, this was good.

Ok, you just had to open the eye faucets tonight, Sean. But I fully agree with God Bless America, and God Bless everyone. God was certainly with Trump on Saturday evening. Trump acknowledged His presence. And although I will not dive into politics, I do want to say that all the chaos that we have in our world today could be cured in minutes, if every person on Earth acknowledged the truth and values of their Creator, their God, their whatever you want to call the Supreme Being who formed us in His image and looks over us and takes care of us every day, if we just believe. And when He comes back, all will acknowledge His presence and will bow to His guidance. Bring back God, and peace and harmony will reign.

God bless this country I am blessed to call home, and God bless you, Sean. I believe that "homeless man" may very well have been an angel in disguise.
