I read your post to my wife who like me has been a Christian for most of her life. I asked her what your writing said to her. She immediately said, “He sees God everywhere.” I wish everyone could see and appreciate God in all the ways you do.

Wouldn’t that be wonderful?

No more name-calling bullies!

No more slurs against immigrants!

If only everyone saw God in his fellow human, as we were told to do in the Bible!

You are much needed medicine in this time of divisiveness. I would say your words are, but it’s more than that. It’s your heart and soul, your music, that is so healing and soothing. What a welcome reminder of goodness. 🙏🏽

Love this! I call him Jesus, the very personification of God. He is the "Way, the Truth, and the Life." And I call Him Love, (Abba) Father, Savior, Lord, and other names found in the Bible. But, also, I call myself blessed, because I did nothing to deserve His grace and blessings but to believe.

One more thing: God identified Himself to Moses as "I Am."

I looked up the word believe in my Strong's Concordance. It means to "trust and obey".

Oh, Sean, you made happy tears come to my eyes for asking to be called a friend of God. You have to be one of His friends already. Because He gave you all your talents and helped you develop them. He always helps you find a subject for your daily messages to us. His love and mercy for us is unending. And not a one of us humans thanks Him enough. Although I do try throughout the day when something happens that I know was at His hands, and every morning in my personal journaling and before I go to sleep. But we need to remember that He and His son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, really are beside us every day. Sometimes, they send their angels, but He in Three is in charge!

People may call you a heathen, for reasons only they understand, but you clearly know God. And He clearly loves you and people through you, so you’re pretty good in my book. Thanks for this. Perfect timing.

The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous has many different names for God. "Higher Power" is one. But my favorite is "New Found Friend". The God of my understanding is indeed my New Found Friend, and, for that, I am eternally grateful. Tom McC, Sober by the Grace of My Newfound Friend since June 15, 2010

I was drunk when I told God I was tired and tired of being tired. If there's a life to be lived for you, I'm ready. I was instantly sober and 47yrs later, I'm still sober. God will never leave us but we are free to leave anytime we want.

Yes, you are so right, we do have free will. However, He works all things for good, no matter what choice we make. I'm not excusing my actions, I believe God can still give strength, wisdom, and guidance through those actions.

Sy, you’re right. The “God is in control “ group has an ironclad alibi to excuse their own actions. They have nothing to do with existence. That’s bull. We have free will. That’s why, in Genesis, things go so wrong so quickly.

🎵Count your blessings, name them one by one……God loves a grateful heart! Readers love all the ways you shared gratitude. I’m thankful for the small farms around me which are daily active, the sunrise and the afternoon breeze, the colorful trees, my family and friends…..to name a few……May our hearts be united in the life we’ve been given.

Your Heavenly Father rejoices every time He hears from you. Or me. Any of us, really. I remember my grandmother saying she didn’t care what my children called her (why is there so much hoopla over grandparent names?! Peepaw. Meemaw. Moomommy. Both my grandmothers were grandma and grandfathers were grampa) just so they called her. God is just happy to hear from us. We’re all happy to hear from you.
