Sweet story. But that’s not what I want to comment about. You, sir, are a man of so many talents that I can’t keep up. You have mastered five musical instruments that I know of and there are probably more. You sing. You write beautifully and prolifically. You give your heart, your wisdom and your life to everyone around you. You illustrate your own writings and now I find that you paint. What a lovely portrait! I eagerly look forward to finding out what other talents are hidden under that hat.
Thank you. You said exactly what I came here to say, and very eloquently. That painting is an eye opener. So beautiful! What other talents can this man be hiding?
You are so multi-talented! A writer, an artist, a musician, a comedian, a kind human being. Never, ever take for granted the beautiful gifts you have. And thank you for sharing those gifts with all of us.
I've been married to my bride for nearly twenty-nine years. However, I'm the one that asks, "What you want for supper?" at 0900 hrs, in this household. I'm the chef, the head bottle-washer, And....I'm the one that eats the electric green seaweed salad, but not her!!! Nope, not today! Nor any day, for that matter! I'm the one that eats raw things, and crawfish, and swamp cabbage, and, etc.
But she IS gettin' better! She did eat some venison cube steak, and she actually knew what it was! AND SHE LIKED IT!!!
Sean! First: I love that painting of Jamie and want you to start selling prints of your art! You’re recording your music and narrating your books so it’s time!
Second: I love your stories about your early days together! Such a talented and sweet young couple!
Me, too. I never see any paintings that beautiful in a museum. Along with everything else he does, Sean could be starting a return to the appreciation of beauty.
Jamie and I have at least one thing in common. When I wake up in the morning, one of my first thoughts is “I wonder what Judy is planning for supper?” And this is after 66 years of her putting up with me.
My wife is a southern cook. Most of the time, to the dismay of my heart doctor, she will make me some biscuits using lard. Not always because lard along with everything else is getting more expensive. She can make Ramen Noodles taste good along with everything else.
We started out the same way, dirt poor, and in love. And there must be something to it, we just celebrated our 36th anniversary. When you pull a double yoke, you find out what people are made of, and becoming successful means so much more when you didn't use to have anything but each other...
It is a wonderful thing to find yourself blessed to be with the One Right Partner for you in this big world. It’s happened twice to me (the first one is now in heaven), but so many people never have this experience even once. When God fixes to bless you like that, you’d better watch yourself … and fasten your dadgum seatbelt!
Another Sean of the South twofer according to my calendar! And I'm seeing the beautiful Jamie in your painting as Renoir might have seen her, too! I'm glad you two still love each other. Amour pour touijours.
