Does her father really believe that nonbelievers find God from condemnation on the part of the church?Jesus taught love and forgiveness. He ate with sinners and prostitutes. This mother is a fine example of Jesus, because she forgave them, and gave all she could to her son. How wonderful that he became a neurosurgeon. What a loss for her family members.

Never ever give up and forgive as we have been forgiven. What a lovely lady who has given her all for her son as she has held onto her Hope and faith to rise above the challenges she has faced.

Sad that a man who proclaims to be a servant of God cannot forgive the mistake of a child. He needs to Live the life of a Christian. Who is he to judge hrr?

Wonder who he’ll call if he ever needs a neurosurgeon?!

Great story of faith, hope, and love. It’s a shame her family never embraced those particular qualities of Christianity. Thanks for sharing this. Praising God for rewarding that strong mom in this life.

What an inspiring lady! And good for her-to go “home” and forgive the people who hurt her. Obviously, she is the winner and the better person, and her son had a real example of what love truly is.

Also, what about the young friend that helped her when she needed help the most.

Christianity is not what you do or don't do. It's who you are. I was complaining to God as I was cutting the church grass. I am the only church member that's working and knows how to start the lawn mower. God said. "You're not cutting the grass for them. You're cutting it for Me." I've been doing without complaining. for years. Religion died that day and relationship took over.

Nice way to think about it, Matt. You must be head and shoulders above the others in that respect. 👍
