Sean- not meaning to add any pressure to your already full life but you do need to stick around this a while longer because there are sure a lot of us “old coots” depending on you to help start each day with your words of life, wisdom, kindness, & God’s love.👍🏼
Still praying for Becca & awaiting another update.🙏🏼
I think it all depends on the measuring stick you use to calculate your wealth. I have a husband I adore, and who loves me, coming up on our 36th anniversary. Children I love and grandchildren who make getting out of bed every day an adventure. And friends who know me well, and still love me! By this measure, I am to be envied. You have Jamie, Becca, and thousands of us who read you every day, and are better people for having found your column. No contest, Sean, no contest.....
As a Canadian, I just have to say that I’m sorry you haven’t had a chance to visit Canada yet. Sorry someone thought you were dead. I think my brother was ordained the same place you were. The internet is wonderful although sometimes it’s as confused as the rest of us.
Paul, I've been to Reindeer Lake in Saskatchewan and to the Rockies in Alberta. Loved both trips. Canada is great! Would love to visit the eastern part.
That’s cool, Phillip, I was born in the Rockies. Like you, I’d love to visit the East coast of Canada. I’ve been up and down the US East Coast, but never had the opportunity to see the Canadian coast.
How odd to hear this about you too. This morning I was checking my emails and one was from Ancestry.com and in it I discovered that I was deceased! I looked around to make sure and it would seem that I'm still among the living. I sent a correction request and within 2 minutes I received a questionnaire wanting to know why I wanted to make a correction. I said, "I'm this person and as of this morning, I'm still alive." Ten minutes later another email confirmed that the correction was successful. That same email displayed my genealogy page and I discovered that I'm my own child too. I didn't even try after that first one.
I ran to a problem like that a few years ago. I come a small town in Arkansas. My senior class had around 30 people, most of them I started the first grade with. A young man that went to our high school for about a semester when were in the eighth grade. A couple of years ago he thought it would be funny if he texted everyone and told them I died. Most of my class didn't believe the text and when one of them called my number and I answered the phone he started laughing. He sent out a rebuttal text but everyone already figured out that I was still alive and kicking. I graduated in 1970.
I’m glad you’re not dead and I’m almost as glad you’re glad you’re not rich. I figure you’d quit touring if you didn’t have to, and that would break the hearts of a lot of us. Still, I hope you get to experience being rich way before get to experience being dead. Blessings.
It’s good to be alive. It’s good to be appreciated. It’s good to know that you matter to at least a few people. It’s good to be of some help to somebody every now and then.
Thank you, Sean, for unapologetically embracing all of your past and who you are. You are a shining example to the rest of us do the same. Because when we ‘own’ everything about ourselves, we are better people. And that, friend, is worth way more than $512 million!
We are glad that “reports of your death have been greatly exaggerated” but, just in case do not walk towards the light! (Of course, if it’s the bathroom light, us old guys understand. )

Paul, my ancestors were “two-boat” Irish. They went to Canada first, then some moved down to the US.
I’m looking into the feasibility of applying for Canadian citizenship.

I’m so glad you aren’t dead! I plan to see you on July 12th in your sold out show!
❤️💕
Keep it real. We, who have been there/done that, appreciate it. Even if we’re not worth 512K 🧐😬😉
Oops… I obviously misunderstood value. In this retired teacher’s world; 512k is a lot. I don’t even know what abbreviation comes after that? M ???

Old age is a gift denied to many.
So glad to hear you have not gone to Beulah Land . Hang in there !!!
You're the funniest writer, and I love to read your material. It is nice that you can dispel such a false report.
