Pure happiness and unquestionable love is definitely what I see in this picture. Your words also tell the story of your dedication, support, & unfailing love.

If you have ever questioned your purpose in this life- look at the two smiling faces on the girls to your right & left.

Sean, I have two children who are now grown and gone. I was present at both births. No instruction book came out with them. I’m afraid it’s a learn it on the fly. You’re doing great.

And PS. The photo. Talk about a thorn between the roses!

Love every word, every day. But I have had your "Brother John" blog in my inbox since 1/26/24 and today's post has evoked my finally saying so ... Sean, you are a GREAT-looking guy ... what is all this silliness about appearance we read ... no way. :-) Bless you for loving us all, warts and all, and for loving dearest Becca who we now all love as well! Keep writing!

Come on, you have figured out what you want to do with your life. Your calling is to make me smile every day with your stories. I wish I lived in the south so I could go to one of your show, but I am happy with your columns for now . Can't wait for the next podcasts to be dropped.

As a girl mom myself, your description moved me almost to tears in remembrance of the heaven we are blessed with before they grow up and fly away.

I've been a parent for nearly 27 years. Guess what, Sean: I haven’t figured out what the heck I’m doing with my own life. My most notable talent is making poot noises with my...well, let's just say making my kids laugh by using potty humor NEVER gets old.

I spent the first 39-3/4 years as a chef and then a nameless professional writer, and the 21 years between my daughter and my son doing the same. Before that, I spent decades waking up at noon and was a night owl and a full-time dating warrior. And guess what? I am immature. I am irresponsible. I have no clue what I am doing. And you know what Sean? There's a very special word for the millions of guys just like us: Dad.
