Well done Sean, I feel like this is the first day of the rest of your life and the bad memories that have hurt you for so many years can be put away. Maybe this will give you the opportunity to see yourself as we do, a very deserving man that we have been praying for,and to find a certain kind of peace to cherish life with Jamie.

We are all so proud of you. Hey, if we could, ALL of us would've been there, too, sitting in the audience and whispering to the person next to us, "Hey, I know him. Good guy." But I would've been "talking" to the choir because the whole audience would've been your fans! And we would've clapped harder and longer than strangers because you're family. Our virtual family. So congrats, Sean! We're really proud of ya!

Sometimes God sets us on treacherous, jagged roads. The persistent is rewarded. Such a person fully appreciates the beauty of the vista. What’s more, he understands it was the only way there.

“When I'm standing on the mountain, I didn't get there on my own

When I'm walking through the valley I know I am not alone

You're God of the hills and valleys

Hills and valleys

God of the hills and valleys

And I am not alone” ~ Hills and Valleys

The standing ovation you received last night as you walked onstage should have been the validation that you are loved beyond measure, appreciated for your talents, are safe, and secure. We, your adopted, protecting family, know your dad watched from the top of the mountain. I firmly believe this.

Maybe now you believe the saying that God doesn’t make any junk. You are a wonder and you bless us with your words everyday. Thank you for not giving up and thank you Jamie for not letting him.

How appropriate that my husband and I finished listening to your audible reading of Will The Circle Be Unbroken on our trip back home from PCB last night! The “circle” of love that you and your dad had for each other will never be broken. I am so excited for you! and Jamie! We recently went to your show in Franklin and enjoyed it so much! I’ve become a fan since reading The Incredible Winston Browne and I think I am choosing it for my bookclub read this year! Thank you for bringing a sweet light to my day! PS - I sleep with a man who smells like a dog! My husband is a veterinarian and we so enjoy the adventures of Marigold! Maybe a children’s book is in your future.

I am so glad your Mama got to go! Its been on my mind all week, Isn't that crazy?! She and Jamie got to see that rock they have been polishing. I can only imagine the joy, pride and satisfaction they got to enjoy. Mama told you one day you were going to soar. And there you went! I hope it was the first of many rewards for the three of you. Especially your Mama who probably paid the highest price of any ticket holder there. Thank you to you and Jamie for taking us with you. Drink a tall one Jamie you earned it!

Well done, son Sean.... I truly believe you felt the comfort of your Father's hand at this magical moment in your life last night at the Grand Ole Opry. And that confirmation was provided when He gave you the vision of that father and his young son trotting down the aisle to get to their seats in time to watch you perform the experience of a lifetime. Congratulations! All of the events in your life up to this date prepared you for this very moment. I truly wish I could have been there physically. But I was there with you spiritually. And want you to know that your readers feel the same way about you. Keep moving forward. The ups and downs of Our Lives make us who we are. It is up to us individually to learn from those experiences and comfort others who may encounter similar events and are bruised and heartbroken. It's what really makes life meaningful. To be an encourager of others. So keep on keeping on with your poignant writing and storytelling Talent and your wonderful musical gifts did you share with us all. Love from Pearland Texas, Dusty and my wife Paula

So proud of and happy for you. So sorry we couldn’t be there, but grateful we were able to catch you in Columbus, GA. Stories like yours only underscore why Romans 8:28 has been my go-to for so long. God DOES bring good out of all things. You just got a glimpse of that. Thanks for sharing it with us. Blessings.
