You never know with whom you have something truly meaningful in common. Even if there's a whole lot of stuff you'd think would keep you from liking them. Down Syndrome. Dementia. Suicide. Triplets. Jesus. You never know until you make the effort to know.
What? A four minute read and you turn me to mush almost every time. Oh, I’m expecting it by now, brace myself, even distance myself a little, and still you manage to touch me deeply.
Sean, I love you! I am a long way from Mobile- out in Wa. State. I grew up in Semmes- my family still lives there-I am having a tough time (lost my husband of 58 years in June) and missing my sister so much. You made me cry, but reminded me there are still wonderful people in this world- including you and the old guy with the horse trailer. ❤️❤️
You made me cry AGAIN Sean!! And this is not even the first time I've read this story! The Lord bless you and keep you...
I know I’ve read this one before, too
Me too with the crying.
I love this. ❤️ Never saw it coming either.

I never saw that coming. Angels unaware.
Sean writes.
Angels hear.
They always know.
Understanding sets us on some different paths - kindness, grace, generosity, and gratitude.
That was a hard one to swallow. The ending came out of left field.
Agreed!
Dogoneit! You just made me cry! I'd say do better, but I am not sure you can. ♥~
Beautiful story of human kindness, and one that shows that Down Syndrome people are special, and so is the tie that binds them. 💞

You do know how to pack a written punch Sean.
Tears again! God bless them all!
Our granddaughter, who is literally the light of our lives, has Down Syndrome and your recent story touched me deeply. Thank you.
You often make me tear up, but today you made me gasp, and truly cry big girl tears. So special. 🩷
Dang! A tissue warning would be appreciated. <3

WHY do you always make me cry?
