Amen! Please pray for my friend Mary. She has cancer and is on chemo and is alone. I have offered to come to Georgia from Texas but she has not said yes. And I am old too so I might not be as much help as she needs. She is also having difficulty in swallowing and therefore not able to eat much. Thank you!

I believe that our spirit becomes blended with everything when we pass from this physical life. I believe we are changed into something all together wonderful and new in God’s kingdom. God tells us in Scripture that we become an integral part of the domain that overcomes, to the point of non-existence, the evil that plagues physical life when we’re in Heaven. He explains that LOVE is how we get there. You and your friend Mary share the LOVE that God is talking about… whether you’re physically or remotely touching in spirit. ❤️

I was able to speak with her yesterday. A friend was there. I was so grateful! We all just keep walking.

If you cannot be there with her because she has not given you permission, try calling and talking to each other at a specific time of day. Just being able to talk with you should help cheer her AND you.

I text. She is on oxygen and with her esophageal problems finds it difficult to talk. Thank you for caring.

🙏Praying for Mary, and you, Cynthia🙏

And, BTW, per the UMC, here in Western Kansas, there are very few UMCs anymore. Some have changed their names, others have just dropped out of the UMC system. Even our former Bishop, now back in Texas, and a Bishop in one of the UMC replacement organizations.

Ours never was officially UMC, and due to population & the Covid Hoax, we are now a very small congregation, but the only Church left in town, so we keep our doors open for Seekers. We only meet 1st & 3rd Sundays, and Special Sundays. And, especially myself, have other Services to attend as regular congregants.

IF I'm not mistaken, our former Bishop, Scott Jones, is now with the "Global Methodist Church!"

I have been blessed with many Luckys throughout my life. Right now they are helping with many daily activities due to what are hopefully temporary back-related health issues. But even before my bad back made their help a vital part of my life, I have been blessed to have them in my life, several for 50+ years. Their friendship, love, and support have been gifts from God. At first it was difficult to allow them to help me as much as I have needed help this time. But my #1 BFF reminded me of the many encouraging notes written, the hundreds of dozens of cookies baked, and the dozens of phone calls made all for others at times when they needed love the most. I said "But that's just what I do. I bake. I write notes. And I you know I can talk." She said "And this is who we are. Ok, so no one bakes cookies like you do, but we can run errands, carry groceries, take cardboard boxes off for recycling, run the vacuum, help clean out your closet, all those things that you can't do now that we can help you with. Plus, you do much more than bake and write. Let us help you like you've helped us for the past umpteen years. Remember what you've told us many, many times--no one can be a giver if there aren't receivers. Be a gracious receiver."

I was crippled as a young child. I was in a wheelchair.

Our road was sand and I could not roll on it. I had a friend, Donna, and she would come and push me down the road. She and I were friends for a long time. I still love her and am thankful for her still.

As a recently retired teacher, I agree that this is indeed a wonderful story that would be a great children’s book! I was always looking for books that relayed the message of sharing and caring for others. Also teaches us that our gifts are given to us to be used to help others. Go for it, Sean! And absolutely yes to you doing the illustrations! And perhaps a companion song?!
