You may be a forgetful old dork, but your lovely, tender words can certainly bring tears to my old, withered eyes. Now, the name Laura will always take me back to this sweet story. Thanks, Sean.

How wonderful. We never know what a small kindness will do for someone. You may have been just the spark that little girl and her mom needed.

I bet you hugged her again, and all of you cried -- with joy. What a wonderful way to wake up at 5 AM, with a beautiful reminder that some are fighting a different war-- and winning! The Creator has blessed us all.

I know the feeling of total despair when you are faced with the probable loss of your child due to the ugly cruel disease called cancer. For all of us who face this reality remember—

Then David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and courageous, and act; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.

1 Chronicles 28:20
