Well, why the hell not? After all, three standing ovations! I know. I did it.

Lately I’ve been on kick of peanut butter sandwiches with a drizzle of raw honey and a few generous dashes of cinnamon. Spring is a busy time of year, the yard and the house are clamoring for attention. It’s good to have a fall back meal that doesn’t require cooking.

I bet you were so enthralled with the news you never really tasted your sandwiches. Congratulations to you, Sean. Meanwhile I await the announcement of Jaime’s cookbook.

I believe the Father delights in your humility. And the fact you’ve come through many trials without bitterness. Rather, they’ve made you sensitive to the pain of your fellow man.

“God resists the proud,

But gives grace to the humble.”

This is not the only reason "Me. Of all people. The suicide survivor. The high-school dropout. The kid who was raised in mobile homes, camper trailers, and cinderblock houses. The guy with a neck the same color as a fire engine." but this is the reason you are who you are. A very talented musician and story teller. I hope you and Colter Wall make it to being a house hold name. I love your music and the stories you tell.

I attended the Grand Ole Opry with seven of my book club members in March. We loved seeing you and hearing your amazing music. I am still amazed at the way you play a piano. Wow! After reading your blog this morning, I drove out to the Grand Ole Opry House and bought 2 tickets for the June show. I am so excited!

CORNGRATS from a feller redneck!! They must have liked you, and why not? Or maybe it was Jamie's charm. Good thing she took that call. You might have said, "Who is this, really? Is that you, Cousin Ed?" and hung up.
